This is a general introductory for the Honda Motorcycle Company.
Honda Motor Company was founded in the year 1958 by two men that went by the names Soichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa. Much like other top brands of Motorcycles, they were founded in Japan, no surprise there. They are a Public Multinational Corporation, a far stretch from the beginning, they specialize is automobiles and Motorcycles, amongst many other different types of motor vehicles. Honda has held the title of the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959. They produce around 14 million internal combustion engines per year. Around the year 1982, Honda had become the largest producer of motorcycles in the entire world, but by 2006 they had lost that title, but were still producing more than any other Domestic brands from Japan. Honda saw a huge jump in sales when they started collaborating with an advertising company in the United States and soon after started selling their brand in the USA. Honda is known for its sporty type models and also its non-sporty type models, like the Honda Super cub for example. In the present day, Honda is still one of the top manufacturers in the entire world and has a large standing the United States. They are more known for their cars in the United States, but that’s not surprising as cars are more common than motorcycles in the states. I don’t see them phasing out any time soon, and I’m pretty sure they will continue to have a strangle on the market of motor vehicles for a long time to come.
